The only thing I have had to fight are hornworms. I live in OK. However, last year I planted basil and marigolds in grow bags with sweet cherry 100’s and never had any problems. My husband hated the tomatoes growing up and falling over so this year I’m experimenting with a single stem or two and a long wooden stake that I continue to wrap the vines with velcro tape. I have covered them with 40% shade cloth. Crossing my fingers!

They're precious and beautiful. I had a rabbit make a nest in one of my raised beds once. One of the babies wound up dying then she moved the other one. Haven't had anymore nests since then.

What a pity. One can't help it if there are farmers around that are using pesticides. When you live in the city you think that the environment is nice and clean outside the city but there are other dangers 🤔

I just planted a couple of sugar baby seeds & I wonder. I know most plants produce more male flowers at first. It's my first time trying to grow a garden. I have squash plants that are producing tons of male flowers & (so far) very few females. I've been taking the males, putting them in a sandwich bag, & refrigerating them. Will they be viable for a few days or hopefully even weeks?

Got a start early with moon and stars. So far one flower is pollinated getting near 100s here in Texas. So hot

You seem to be growing winter sowing in gallon jugs! I did last winter! I have over 200 plants growing in my garden and they all came from sowing. I am in North Carolina.

I'm growing them 🍉🍈 in containers as well. They're much smaller than the ones you buy in shops but they taste much better.

4:01 a couple years ago, I grew a 36 pound watermelon, a 31 pound, and a 20 something pound watermelon. They were so delicious and fun to grow.

Thank you so much I broke 4 or five of my tomato tops while moving them in and out doors to harden off. I have a few of them that seem to be restarting however they seem very stunted. It might not be too late for them to catch up but time will tell? I should have tried to shave the tops too so thanks to your video next time I mess up my starts I will at least have some hope for a save or two~~! Kit
